This curriculum for high school students was first published in 2000 as part of the Open Book Project.  It was last updated about 2008, depending which book you are looking at.  Each of the four lesson books is over 500 pages, then there is a reference manual and a book of experiments.  (There will of course be sections of this that are out of date, like the computing section.)

We have been fans of Khan Academy for years, and loved it for self-directed learning in the high school and junior high years.  Did you know they also offer options for young kids, including a four-week summer program for early learners? 

Camp Khan Kids is 100% free, but it does require the Khan Academy Kids app.  The first weekly activity calendar will be released on June 22!

STEM Units from Mark Rober - Class CrunchLabs


Have you heard of Mark Rober's project, Class CrunchLabs?  Check it out!

This FREE curriculum resource was designed to inspire student curiosity and creativity, and includes hands-on challenges, videos, learning resources, and celebrity collabs.
