Launched in 2003, Civix.ca takes real-life political events and turns them into teachable moments that bring democracy alive in classrooms. CIVIX programming focuses on the themes of elections, government budgets, elected representatives, digital media literacy and civic discourse.
CIVIX Programs include: Student Vote, Youth Voices: Canada’s Priorities, Rep Day, CTRL-F, PoliTalks, Youth Parliament of Canada, and the Democracy Bootcamp conference for teachers.
